We are currently recruiting research assistants (RAs) for interdisciplinary research projects.

1. Research Tracks
- Smart Aging & Care: Research on active and healthy aging, social participation, and technology for aging populations.
- AI, LLM & Multimodal AI: Research on large language models, multimodal AI, AI agents, and human-centered AI systems.
- Human-Robot Interaction (HRI): Research on human-robot interaction, social robotics, nonverbal communication, UX/HCI, and embodied AI.
- Emotion, Cognition & Social Interaction: Research on empathy, social cognition, and emotion.
2. Who Should Apply?
We welcome students and recent graduates from psychology, cognitive science, social welfare, gerontology, engineering, computer science, design, HCI, and related fields who are interested in the research topics listed above.
We especially value applicants who are responsible, communicative, and willing to contribute to both research projects and lab activities.
3. Program Structure
RAs are expected to commit approximately 12 hours per week, including at least 6 hours of in-person lab participation.
RAs will contribute to two or more research projects and assist with research or lab-related activities as needed. Activities may include literature reviews, data analysis, user studies, design workshops, field research, and academic events.
RAs may be matched with graduate student mentors or project managers. Continued participation may be discussed based on project needs, contributions, and mutual fit.

Dates may be adjusted depending on the number of applicants and project needs. Interview candidates will be asked to briefly introduce themselves, approximately 5 minutes. Optional materials such as slides, PDFs, or portfolios may be used.
